Whether you’re a parent, grandparent or a guardian, you can open a youth account for kids under 18. Just bring in the required identification to any branch location.

You can open a youth account by visiting one of our locations, with a $5 deposit required to establish membership.
To open a youth account, you'll need the child's name, date of birth, Social Security number, address, and contact information. A parent, grandparent, or legal guardian must also be on the account and provide their contact information. A $5 deposit is required to establish membership.
No, Youth Accounts can only be opened in-person at your local branch.
For the parent or guardian to be removed from account at age 18, both parties will need to visit their local branch and sign a change of joint ownership form.
